Genie+ rebranded, early purchase of Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World Resort

Disney Genie+ is rebranded at both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. The service becomes Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Lightning Lane Individuals become Single Passes.

Pre-arrival planning when physically in the U.S. or Canada as of July 24, 2024

If you are physically in the U.S. or Canada 7 to 3 days before the start of your stay:

• 7 days in advance if your reservation is at a Disney hotel: you can make your Lightning Lane reservations your Lightning Lane reservations at 07:00 AM Eastern Time, 7 days prior to your arrival for all park days of interest. Hotel guests will be able to book passes for the entire duration of their vacation (up to 14 days) as soon as the Multi Pass option is available to them.
• 3 days in advance if your stay is off-site (AirBnb rental or other off-site accommodation): you can make your reservations 3 days before the start of the validity period of your admission tickets. In the same way, you can make your reservations for all the days you are interested in.
• Please note: you will be able to make your reservations prior to payment to ensure that you get the times you want.

Planning the day you arrive in the United States

If you are not physically in the U.S. or Canada before the start of your stay:

• If you have booked a stay or package at a Disney hotel, you can make your Lightning Lane reservations as soon as you arrive at the airport. Lightning Lane reservations for the entire duration of your stay.
• Similarly, if you’re not staying on site, and your tickets are valid from the day after your arrival, you can book immediately for the days you’re interested in.

Three selections of attractions in the same park with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass

You can make up to three selections per day in a single theme park in advance and choose the times that suit you best.
For Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme parks, you’ll need to either:

• choose one Group 1 attraction + two Group 2 attractions
• or choose 3 attractions from group 2.

For Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, there is no notion of group 1 or 2.

Using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the day of your theme park visit

You’ll be able to make additional selections once you’ve used your first Lightning Lane entrance. This new selection could be in a different park if the entry tickets you bought in your package or outside a package have the Hopper or Hopper Plus option.

Single Pass option

This option applies only to the five attractions not included in the Multi Pass. Your travel consultant will discuss this option with you to help you prepare!

You can purchase up to two Single Passes per day for popular attractions such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON Lightcycle / Run. These selections are independent of the Multi Pass and can therefore be chosen in different theme parks.
