Tailor-made planning for a Magical Journey

Last week, I had the privilege of accompanying a family on their first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Made up of two adults, their 6-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son, this little family had long dreamed of immersing themselves in the magic of Disney. As a specialized Disney travel consultant, I was with them from the start to plan every detail. They were particularly pleased with my personalized guidance, with face-to-face meetings via Teams to discuss and plan, unlike other agencies that simply provide documentation. Thanks to this approach, they were able to enjoy their stay to the full, with no stress – just magic.

A stay at the heart of Magic: Disney’s Pop Century Resort

A hotel beyond expectations

The family stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, a hotel they loved from the moment they arrived on their first Disney trip. It’s not just a place to sleep, but a real dive into the colorful, nostalgic world of Disney. Children marveled at the gigantic sculptures depicting Disney icons from years gone by, and parents appreciated the hotel’s perks, including free transportation to the parks via the Disney Skyliner. This hotel, at the heart of Disney magic, was a real favorite for the whole family.

Comfort, convenience and entertainment for this first Disney trip

Disney’s Pop Century Resort offered the family everything they needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious, modern, and decorated with subtle but charming Disney touches. After busy days in the parks, they were able to relax by the “Hippy Dippy” pool, where the kids spent hours playing while the parents relaxed. The hotel’s location, combined with its fun and welcoming atmosphere, made it a perfect choice for this first stay.

The Magic of Theme Parks: 6 days of fun with the Hopper option

A well-planned itinerary

For this week-long stay, the family had 6 days of tickets to the theme parks, with the Hopper option, allowing them to visit several parks in one day. Every morning, they got up early to take advantage of “early entry” reserved for Disney hotel residents. This enabled them to experience magical moments before the parks became too crowded, and to discover the most popular attractions without too much waiting.

Flexible, magical planning

The flexibility offered by the Hopper option was a real plus for this family. One day, they started their morning at Magic Kingdom, where the kids met their favorite characters, then ended the day at Epcot for the “Luminous” fireworks show. Each day was a new mix of experiences, making their first Disney trip as dynamic as it was memorable.

Unforgettable meals: a culinary experience at Disney

The magic of restaurant reservations

One of the most stressful parts of planning a Disney vacation is often securing reservations at the most popular restaurants. With my help, the family was able to secure seats at seven iconic restaurants, each offering a unique experience. Their culinary adventure was a discovery of the varied flavors and atmospheres Disney has to offer.

Sharing moments around the table

  • Ohana: Their stay began with dinner at Ohana, where they enjoyed an incredible brunch with the famous Mickey, Stich, Micket and Minnie waffles and their friends while taking in a magnificent view of Magic Kingdom.
  • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater: The kids loved dining in a car while watching classic movies in a retro atmosphere. They’re still talking about the milkshake!
  • The Crystal Palace: A lunch where they met Winnie the Pooh and his friends, creating sweet and tender memories and a gastronomic discovery: churro waffles!!!!
  • Garden Grill: A revolving restaurant offering views of the Living with the Land attraction, a tasting of fruits and vegetables grown on site with visits from iconic characters like Tic and Tac.
  • Tusker House: An African buffet where they were greeted by Donald and his friends in their safari outfits.
  • Topolino’s Terrace: A Riviera lunch with Mickey and Minnie as painters at the top of Disney’s Riviera Resort, with breathtaking views. It was really nice to get there directly with the Skyliner!!!!
  • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall: A princess meal where their little girl was showered with the attentions of the Disney princesses.

A typical day at Walt Disney World

Sunrise over Magic

Every day, the family woke up early, ready to take advantage of the “early entry” offered to Disney residents. At dawn, they were at the park gates, ready to embark on new adventures. Their mornings were filled with excitement, between attractions, character encounters and exploring the wonders of Disney.

A well-deserved break at the Hotel

In the hottest hours of the day, they returned to their hotel for a well-deserved break. They took time to relax, enjoy the pools, and recharge their batteries before setting off again for the afternoon. These moments of rest were essential to enable them to make the most of their stay.

Magical evenings

Evenings were an opportunity to discover Disney’s nighttime shows, sample culinary specialties, and get lost in the magic of the illuminated parks. Each day ended on a high note, with memories filled to the brim and a smile on every face.

The importance of Memory Maker: memories to last a lifetime

Magical photos around every corner

The family had opted for the Memory Maker package, a choice they never regretted. Throughout the parks, photographers were on hand to capture their most memorable moments. Whether in front of Cinderella’s castle or in action on an attraction, every moment was immortalized.

Precious memories

At the end of their stay, they left with a collection of photos that tell the story of their Disney adventure. These images, witnesses to their happiness, will be precious memories to cherish forever.

A magical journey thanks to personalized planning

This family’s first stay at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida was simply unforgettable. Thanks to careful planning, my personalized guidance, and the judicious choices made for every aspect of their trip, they were able to experience a week filled with magic and happiness. Every dollar invested created memories that will stay with them forever.
