The event usually takes place on certain nights from late August to November 1, allowing visitors to enjoy the spooky festivities without any scares. Here’s what makes Halloween a must-see event for fans of Disney fans of all ages:
One of the highlights of the “Halloween Party Mickey’s Not-So-Scary “is the chance for visitors to dress up in their own Disney costumes. Whether you’re a little princess, a swashbuckling pirate or a classic Disneyit’s the perfect place to show off your creativity. Guests of all ages can participate, and it’s not uncommon to see entire families or groups dressed as their favourite Disney characters. I was very happy to proudly display my Sanderson Sisters sweater.
Trick-or-Treating is a beloved Halloween tradition, and Disney’s Disney takes it to a whole new level. Throughout the park, you’ll find numerous candy stations where you can collect candy, chocolates and other treats. Disney spares no expense in creating these themed candy spots, turning candy-collecting into a magical adventure. I can confirm that you’ll find surprises that don’t even exist in Quebec! I’ve confirmed this with a friend who works in the field. All the more reason to take advantage!
The party features exclusive Halloween-themed entertainment that you won’t find during normal park hours. MICKEY’S BOO-TO-YOU HALLOWEEN PARADE is a fan favorite, featuring iconic characters from Disney characters in their Halloween costumes, and this year Bruno Madrigal will be joining the party!
The stage show ” Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular “brings to life the Sanderson Sisters and other villains from Disneyvillains, delivering a spellbinding performance. The night ends with a fascinating fireworks display that lights up the sky above Cinderella’s castle.
Opportunities to meet Disney characters Disney characters are a big part of the experience. However, at the “Halloween Party Mickey’s Not-So-Scary“, you can meet characters rarely seen in their Halloween outfits. It’s a fantastic opportunity to take photos and collect autographs from characters who might not be available at other times. That said, you’ll need to be patient for some of the unique characters, as sometimes the queues can be quite long. As for me, I saw everyone in the parade, and that made my day!
As mentioned above, you’ll find special Halloween-themed merchandise and food products available exclusively during the event. From limited-edition pins and apparel to spooky snacks and treats, there’s something for everyone to take home as a souvenir.
Since attendance is limited and the event usually takes place in the evening, “Halloween Party Mickey’s Not-So-Scary” offers shorter queues for popular attractions and a more intimate park experience. This means you can enjoy more rides and entertainment with minimal wait times. However, in my recent experience, it’s not the attractions you attend this event for, but the unique atmosphere! Expect a bit of a wait when queuing for sweets, but nothing too unpleasant given the festive atmosphere all around.
Unlike some haunted houses and spooky Halloween events, this party is intentionally designed to be family-friendly. The emphasis is on fun, not-so-scary experiences, making it suitable for children of all ages.
Please note that although you can enter the park from 4pm, the party really starts at 7pm. Also, be aware that between 6pm and 7pm, some attractions close to prepare for the evening. Take advantage of this time to grab a bite to eat and take a break from the heat, as this is another important point to know. The heat is terrible, so take breaks, hydrate and dress lightly. When you know in advance, it’s great!
“Halloween Party Mickey’s Not-So-Scary“is a magical and memorable way to celebrate Halloween with a touch of Disney enchantment. Whether you’re a fan of the Disneyuniverse, a family looking for a unique Halloween experience or simply someone who loves the magic of Disneymagic, this annual event is sure to cast a spell on your heart and create precious memories that will last a lifetime.
