This summer, get ready to plunge into a world of adventure and fantasy with the opening of DreamWorks Land at Universal Orlando Resort. Inspired by beloved DreamWorks Animation characters such as Shrek, the Trolls and Kung Fu Panda, this new themed world promises unforgettable moments for the whole family. Located in the Universal Studios Florida theme park, this zone will offer a multitude of entertainment for young and old, including a family roller coaster, several interactive play areas, live entertainment, character encounters and much more.
From the moment you step through the gates of this spectacular land, you’ll be enveloped by the living world and imagination of DreamWorks Animation, embarking on exciting adventures. You can explore Shrek ‘s swamp just outside his 35-foot-high cottage, take a ride on the dazzling Trollercoaster, interact with Po in the Panda Village and meet favorite characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse. You’ll also discover unique treats, backdrops worthy of your best Instagram photos, interactive play areas, water jets and shows based on popular DreamWorks stories and characters.

SHREK
Like ogres and onions, visitors can discover layers of fun in Shrek ‘s oasis to find fun “ogre-ment” adventures at every turn.
Meet Shrek‘s Marsh: Visitors can interact with beloved characters Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey, the noble steed always ready to joke and converse with guests, just outside Shrek‘s cottage.
Shrek ‘s Swamp for Little Ogres: This gargantuan playground features four fun slides, water play zones and a playground where visitors can climb, jump and splash, as well as venture into Shrek‘s cabin.
Mama Luna’s Cat Party: The hit movie, Puss in Boots 2: The Last Quest, comes to life with this new interactive experience set in Mama Luna‘s cat retirement home. Here, visitors can play with Mama L una’s many cats on live interactive screens activated by buttons, bells, maracas and levers. They might even catch a glimpse of the one and only Puss in Boots.
Harold’s Swamp Symphony: Visitors can create their own melodious masterpiece by triggering a chorus of changing frog croaks as they stomp continuously over a series of interactive water lilies.
Snacks du Marais: Families can feast like an ogre at this new kiosk, serving delicious Shrek-inspired snacks including Shrekzel, Far Far A Waffle, Frozen Ogre and more.
TROLLS
A magnificent fountain featuring the Trolls‘ favorite characters, Poppy and Branch, sits at the center of the Troll Village, where a “fantastamazing” energy flows and visitors can relax and “find their Happy Place”.
Trolls‘ Trollercoaster: After traversing a dazzling marquee featuring beloved Trolls characters Poppy, Viva, Tiny Diamond, Satin and Chenille, visitors of all ages can board the iconic Caterbus escaping evil spiders as they accelerate along an orange and yellow track aboard this family-friendly rollercoaster.
Poppy‘s Playground: Nestled beneath a huge 20-foot mushroom, Poppy’s Playground is a shaded play area featuring colorful flowers and insects with an abundance of fun jumping and climbing structures for younger trolls.
Troll treats: Poppy’ s boombox from Trolls Band Together has been transformed into a playful kiosk featuring brightly colored Troll ice treats inspired by Poppy and Branch, such as Poppy-licious Pink lemonade and BroZone Berry blueberry.
Cachette High Five: Cloud Guy welcomes this brand-new retail location featuring the latest products, including clothing, plush and accessories from Shrek, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, Gabby’s Dollhouse and more.
KUNG FU PANDA
Visitors embark on exciting, fun-filled adventures alongside the lovable Po panda from the action-packed world of the Kung Fu Panda movies.
Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp: Inspired by the hit Kung Fu Panda films, this brand-new play area brings Panda Village to life like never before. In both wet and dry play areas, visitors have the opportunity to help the pandas wash and dry their clothes with huge water cannons, tipping buckets, giant fans and more. Visitors will also encounter fun elements throughout the experience, including an interactive gong, mischievous, laughing baby pandas, and oversized carousel noodle bowls from Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop.
Po Live! : This digital encounter and interaction experience gives visitors the opportunity to interact with the famous Dragon Warrior himself as he teaches them cool Kung Fu moves, cooks a delicious stir fry and babysits his little cousin, Ling Ling… all at the same time.
