Last year, I was lucky enough to have a memorable experience with my family at Walt Disney World Resort’s Halloween Party in August. Although the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party activities don’t start until 7:00 p.m., these special admission tickets gave us access to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m., at no extra charge. Knowing this, we arrived on site at 4:00 pm! The kids had been in costume all day…
We opted for a meal at a table-service restaurant, Tony’s Time Square Restaurant, where the kids loved the references to the film “Beauty and the Tramp” as well as the delicious spaghetti.
Afterwards, we explored the attractions with reduced waiting times and began our candy hunt, a very important activity for the kids. Some of the more remote areas were more generous with candy, as they were less crowded. We watched the majestic parade and fireworks show before collecting even more candy (we had so much that we still had some for the real Halloween). The kids loved it so much that now they want to go back to the Walt Disney World Resort just for this not-so-scary holiday!
