The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebration is underway, and we’re thrilled to announce that Disney100 will be expanding at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida starting in late September 2023! Throughout the year, it’s been great fun to see all the special surprises at Disney Parks around the world, helping fans and families relive beloved Disney memories and discover heartwarming new stories.

Visitors may have heard that Epcot Theme Park will be the centerpiece of the Disney100 celebration at Walt Disney World Resort, marking not only a century of magic and innovation, but also the advent of the future, as the theme park’s transformation draws to a close.

So, what does this time-limited celebration at EPCOT have in store for us? Read on to find out what else will be appearing onn September 22!

Discover Disney100 sets in the parks and at Disney Springs

Have you taken a selfie with one of the Disney100 sets located in the four theme parks and at Disney Springs? Visitors will be able to take a photo with a new platinum sculpture of Mickey Mouse in World Celebration, with the Spaceship Earth attraction in the background. And don’t forget the superb Disney100 Magic Shots and PhotoPass offers currently available throughout Walt Disney World.

A breathtaking fresco at the heart of World Celebration

Be sure to check out the brand-new mural at the heart of World Celebration to see how many of the 100 Disney characters visitors can find in this incredible scene. This expansive mural, located along the pathway leading to World Showcase, will feature some of your favorite characters hidden in the various sections of Epcot. The rest of World Celebration will also be decorated with Disney100 platinum banners and decorations.

Meet Mickey and Minnie in platinum costumes

Visitors will have the chance to meet, hug and take a photo with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in their finest platinum costumes in the Imagination pavilion! They won’t be the only ones to shine in honor of the celebration. The Spaceship Earth attraction will light up every evening with special colors and lights, accompanied by the Disney100 anthem, a unique rendition of “When You Wish Upon a Star”.

Enjoy the culinary delights of the Disney100 celebration at Epcot

Sample the flavors of the Disney100 celebration with four ephemeral food and beverage venues at the Food and Wine international festival in Epcot and also at the Festival of The Holidays, also in Epcot! We can’t wait to sample all the culinary delights and delectable beverages that evoke new, timeless Disney memories.

This won’t be the only exclusive food and beverage offering visitors can enjoy during the celebration! They won’t want to miss the purple metallic Mickey balloon-shaped Premium popcorn bucket, available only at Epcot during Disney100.
