Opening on June 14, 2024

This all-new land, eagerly awaited at Universal Studios Florida by families with young children, will make its official debut, inviting visitors to explore the living worlds of some of DreamWorks Animation’s most beloved characters, such as Shrekthe Trolls and Kung Fu Panda. The new expanded zone will feature interactive play areas, character encounters, an all-new live indoor show, unique treats and photo-worthy moments to delight the whole family. Visitors can explore Shrek’s swamptake a ride on the Trollercoasterinteract with Po in Panda Village, meet characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Gabby’s Dollhouse and much more. They’ll also be transported to the worlds of some of their favorite characters at the DreamWorks Imagination Celebrationa multi-sensory live show that will bring DreamWorks’ beloved stories to life like never before.

New parade at Universal Orlando: high-energy excitement

Premiere on July 3, 2024

Some of Universal’s most beloved movie stories will come to life and take to the streets of Universal Studios Florida for the Universal Mega Movie Parade – a spectacular celebration of iconic films such as E.T., Back to the Future, Jaws, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Minions and Sing of Illuminationas well as Trolls and Kung Fu Panda from DreamWorks. The Universal Mega Movie Parade will be Universal Orlando’s largest daytime parade to date, combining 13 new floats, nearly 100 performers – including dancers, skaters, stilt walkers, Poi artists – and special effects to create a breathtaking experience where visitors can relive classic movie moments in a whole new way.

Visitors will see the gigantic 5-metre-high Chamallow Man on the Ghostbustersfloat, the Caterbus and giant rainbows on the vibrant Trollsa line of live drums playing the iconic score from the film Jaws theme float, and – for the grand finale – a Gyrosphere, Raptors and the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex on board the float from Jurassic World. This will break the record for the largest figure ever presented in a Universal Orlando daytime parade. Fans should also pay close attention to the parade to see if they can spot any additional details that reference iconic elements from the films.

Hogwarts™ Always

Opening on June 14, 2024

On June 14 at Universal Islands of Adventure, on selected evenings, visitors to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Hogsmeade will be able to enjoy an extraordinary night-time show, Hogwarts Always, an incredible new projection that will take guests through the iconic moments of a school year at Hogwarts – all set against the majestic backdrop of Hogwarts Castle. From shopping for supplies in the Traverse Alley, to the exciting ride on the Hogwarts Express, taking part in the Repartition Ceremony, celebrating the winner of the Cup of Four Houses and much more, this visually stunning experience promises to captivate wizards, witches and Muggles of all ages.

The show will also feature four different endings celebrating each of the Hogwarts houses, and will conclude with a colorful fireworks display. Fans should also hear dialogue from beloved characters such as Professor Dumbledore, Hagrid, the Sorting Hat and others throughout the show.

Film music comes to life in cinematic splendor

Starting June 14 at Universal Studios Florida, the waters of the park’s lagoon will come alive with an all-new nighttime show celebrating the emotional power of music by tapping into iconic scores and scenes from hit movies that have inspired Universal Orlando’s past, present and future attractions. This includes films from Warner Bros. such as Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts, Jurassic World, Jaws, Shrek, Ghostbusters, Trolls, Back to the FutureUniversal’s Monsters, Transformers, Dragons, E.T., Fast and Furious, The Super Mario Bros., The Minions, The Mummy and King Kong.

And what about the impressive collection of technologies and special effects that bring the show to life: 288 fountains reaching heights of up to 40 meters, incredible 4K projection mapping, an original composition featuring newly arranged scores meticulously tailored to each scene, and over 600 drones that will fly directly over the lagoon – all combined to envelop visitors in a breathtaking spectacle of unforgettable cinematic moments.
