Opened in 2010 following the success of JK Rowling’s saga, The Wonderful World of Harry Potter attracts wizards of all ages to Universal Orlando Resort, Florida .
Straddling both Universal Studio and Islands of Adventure theme parks, the wizarding world continues to grow. Imagine a totally immersive area in a magical setting: 5 and soon 6 attractions, 2 strongly themed restaurants, not to mention the many shops and the incredible Butterbeer.
Visit Hogwarts Castle
Hogwarts Castle is home to the first attraction to open in 2010: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. You will recognize part of the school of sorcery and follow Harry Potter’s friends on a breathtaking journey! In the evening, you will attend a magical Sound and Light show!
Visit the Sorcerer's School
Just like real wizards, you can buy your magic wand in Ollivander’s shop and learn how to cast spells!
Discover Hogsmeade Village
This town is amazing! You will find there, among other things, the Weasley brothers’ joke and catch shop, Honeyduke and Zonko’s , you will taste the famous Butterbeer and attend several shows, including that of the students of the BeauxBâtons Academy. Some schools of witchcraft might surprise you!
Board the Hogwarts Express
This attraction connects Hogsmeade Village and Diagon Alley. And since both of these locations are in the Island Of Adventure theme park and the other in the Universal Studio theme park, hopping aboard will save you a lot of footsteps! You will need to find Victoria Station or King’s Cross Station. Be careful, you absolutely must have purchased an admission ticket with the park-to-park option at Universal orlando which allows you to visit both parks on the same day.
