Witch kind of theme park ticket do you really need?
Base ticket
For first timer, these theme park tickets are the cheapest. They allow you to enjoy only one park per day, of your choice . For example, on a 4-day admission ticket, you can decide to spend two days at the Magic Kingdom park or to visit a different Disney theme park each day. So the park you start your day with will be the same all day. It is possible to leave the park several times in the same day (for example to return to your Disney hotel and enjoy the swimming pool, or to eat at Disney Springs , etc.). When you return, you will need to return to the same park.
Ticket with park Hopper option

Then here are the tickets that set you free to enjoy the best of Walt Disney World theme parks! Entrance tickets with the Park Hopper option will allow you to go from one park to another in the same day . This option gives you the freedom to do or redo your favorite Disney attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean , or Avatar Flight of Passage by changing parks from 2:00 p.m.
Speaking of theme park traffic, admission tickets with the Park Hopper option give you more flexibility! With the help of the My Disney Experience application, you will be able to monitor the waiting time at attractions and decide to change parks for a less crowded place. Finally, it will be easy to change parks to make the most of it and adjust your itinerary or the program for your day!
Ticket with Water and Sports option
(Add about 74.55$ US per person and per ticket)
These admission tickets allow you to visit one park per day. You can choose a different park per day . You will also enjoy a number of visits to one of the two water parks and other sports-related pleasures . Talk to your travel agent.
Ticket with par Hopper Plus option

Finally, here are admission tickets that will give you more for your money! These will allow you to go from one park to another in the same day and also a certain number of visits to the water parks and other sports-related pleasures . You will have understood it, if you stay 7 days and more at Disney , these tickets will give you more for your money; but it takes time!
How do I choose the best ticket option for Walt Disney World Resort?
Choose base tickets and take the time to fully savor what each Park has to offer! Just imagine:
- Magic Kingdom park : the most magical place on Earth! It is here that you will find several attractions inspired by the great Disney classics, thrilling roller coasters, gourmet restaurants. Not to mention the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and the Disney Enchantment night show.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios : This is where you can travel to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars : Galaxy’s Edge! We also find in this park attractions coming straight from your favorite toy story and grandiose shows.
- Epcot : This magnificent park is full of surprises: it hosts several festivals every year, allows you to discover several different cultures and countries, as well as a fabulous gastronomic offer. Let yourself be dazzled by state-of-the-art attractions and breathtaking night shows!
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park: This is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the magic of nature. Go on a Safari or discover Africa and Asia. This is where Pandora—The World of Avatar awaits; to discover during the day and at nightfall!
Definitely enough to fill every day! We often recommend purchasing a base ticket allowing you to visit only one park per day. This advice best suits family including young children! An exception applies however: some promotions may require the Hopper option to be eligible.
About the Kids: The Most Magical Place on Earth is for kids ages 0-99… This is why it is important to plan rest times adapted to their rhythms. The little ones will be extremely solicited by the noises, the colors, the experiences and the crowd. As for the older ones, the long walks can get the better of a few feet and backs! Always offer the opportunity to take a nap or rest in a quiet place such as a hotel room in the afternoon. It is rare that one can spend the full day (from opening to closing), 7 days and more in a row, without compromising the Magic of the place.

Since you have mastered the exploration of the My Disney Experience application and want to do as many attractions as possible according to wait times throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, admission tickets with the option Park Hopper are made for you! You will be able to change parks as often as you wish in the same day. For example, if you are an early riser, you could start with the theme park which opens earlier than the others, then from 2:00 p.m., when the waiting time at the attractions becomes too long for you, you could change Park. Why not also end your visit to Walt Disney World Resort in front of one of the incredible shows offered by the site: whether it’s Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom park, or even Harmonious at Epcot ?
This option gives you more freedom and flexibility. Remember to plan well to avoid wasted time in transport.
